“Lion Feuchtwangers Roman Exil im nostalgischen Dreissigerjahre-Look”. Süddeutsche Zeitung

A recent theatrical production of Exil staged by Munich Kammerspiele was accompanied by a reading of correspondence between Lion Feuchtwanger and fellow exiled German Jewish author Arnold Zweig.

Analysis of how Lion Feuchtwanger and fellow authors coped with the circumstances of exile, and how they expressed support for the anti-fascist cause through their work, can be found in Feuchtwanger und Exil (Feuchtwanger Studies Volume 2 (2009)).
