There is particular emphasis on the works in which Lion Feuchtwanger addressed the problem of antisemitism in Germany and the rise of Nazism, namely Jud Süss, Erfolg, and Die Geschwister Oppermann. The impact of Nazism on Lion Feuchtwanger and his immediate family, within the context of the social history of the period, is also emphasized.
